Season 12 Recital: Postponed until further notice
Held at the Bowling Green High School Performing Arts Center, our annual recital is a chance for our talented dancers to showcase their hard work. We are sad to report that our Season 12 Recital has been postponed. Additional information on a reschedule date will be shared as it becomes available.
We will hold two recreational recitals this season, as well as a Competition Company duet/trio/group recital & Solo Showcase. Click here for the working schedule/class assignments.
Five & Ten Year Awards
The Beat recognizes dancers who have studied with us for five and ten years. Click here for our awards list draft, and e-mail any edits to us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Reserved seating ticket sales will open online on Friday April 24 at 5:00 pm, and will remain open online until 24 hours prior to our first performance, or, when we have sold out (whichever comes first). Please be sure to purchase tickets early if you plan to attend as we anticipate a sold out show. Everyone who occupies a seat must purchase a ticket to the show. Young children are permitted to sit on a parent's lap free of charge. The cost for tickets is $15 per seat.
All BDC dancers age 5+ who are currently enrolled in any single subject or combination class higher than our "mini movers" class are invited to perform in our Season 12 Recital's opening number. All opening number participants are required to attend a mandatory staging rehearsal at The Beat on during recital week (schedule is TBA) in order to perform this routine. In addition, dancers must attend at least one choreography rehearsal to learn material for the dance in advance. Practice videos from our choreography rehearsals will be shared online.
Recital After Party
All BDC dancers, families, and fans are invited to head over to the Sundae Station in Bowling Green to party after the show. We plan to party after both recitals!
